Over a twenty-season career, James Emory Foxx terrorized American League pitchers with an imposing figure and a commanding swing. Often overshadowed by his New York contemporaries, Foxx was arguably the most productive right-handed slugger of his generation. The offered single-signed Jimmie Foxx (d.1967) OAL Harridge baseball exudes an eye appeal that is almost as powerful as the first basemen's stature. Scripted across the sweet spot in period black ink, the signature from “The Beast” grades in the (“7-8”) range. According to PSA/DNA, this sphere appears to have been professional restored, having multiple signatures obscured in an effort to give the appearance of a single-signed baseball. Despite that intrusion, this markedly scarce artifact remains ideal for the advanced Hall of Fame autograph collection. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
