Every president since William Taft has thrown out at least one ceremonial first pitch during his tenure, and John F. Kennedy is no exception in the offered 11x14 press photo taken at D.C. Stadium on April 8, 1963. This gorgeous black-and-white image shows the late President in action and was taken by a staff photographer from the Washington Evening Star. The front of the photo reveals some gloss cracking throughout the piece, and some moderate creasing is prevalent throughout the body. The reverse contains a small section of paper residue. Despite these detractions, this image is an excellent candidate for framing and public presentation.
