The 1964 New York Yankees were still the most dominant team in the American League and the most popular team in all of baseball. The Hasbro Toy Company issued a board game to capitalize on the Yankees popularity in 1964 and 1965. The presented complete game and set from 1964 includes the original box, all (50) player cards, the information cards and all the pieces with the exception of (3) pegs. The fifty-card set is a mixture of the 1964 and 1965 sets and has an overall grade of (GD to VG) with some exceptions. The key cards are Aaron (GD), Berra (VG), Kaline (GD), Maris (GD), Mantle (VG), Mathews (GD), McCovey (GD) and Yastrzemski (FR). The original box is in overall (FR) condition with colorful graphics while displaying paper loss and four torn corners. The game board and pieces are in (VG) condition.
