On April 13, 1954 a scrawny kid with strong wrists made his major league debut at the plate in Cincinnati, Ohio. Those at Crosley Field for the game probably did not realize they were watching Henry Aaron begin his journey into the Hall of Fame. Presented is an intact ten-page scorecard from that very game between the Redlegs and the Braves. This piece contains advertisements and a pencil-scored scorecard that has the rosters of both teamís lineups. The cover is partially detached on the staple binding, and the pages show slight paper aging and minor creasing.
