Shoeless Joe Jackson, the cornerstone of the most infamous of squads from the turn of the century, is vibrantly depicted on this c.1911-16 Hillerich decal bat. Measuring 31-1/2” long and weighing approximately 36 ounces, this scarce bat displays 70% of the decal on a bat that rates a (“6”). Despite light chipping on the flared handle, as well as minor abrasions on the surface, the bat displays magnificently with Jackson’s name clearly visible on the decal. Featuring a professional ME stamp between the 40 JJ, Hillerich & Sons label and decal, this impressive piece of lumber will turn heads for generations to come.

Further research reveals that these ME bats are Military Edition bats that were distributed to soldiers during World War I. These Military Edition bats are exponentially tougher to find than their unstamped counterparts.
