Incomparable as both a player and a manager, John Joseph McGraw is rightfully entrenched in the history of American baseball. Offered is a beautiful Selected Models Spalding baseball bat presented to John McGraw and the 1929 New York Giants. The blond bat measures 35”/33 oz, displaying Spalding etchings on the barrel and knob, as well as a customized barrel reading Loyal Giants Rooters Dinner to John J. McGraw and the 1929 Giants, New York April 14th, 1929. The etchings remain clearly legible, and the bat displays minimal surface wear, grading in superb (EX-MT) condition. One of the final seasons McGraw would spend in the bigs, this scarce relic presented to “Little Napoleon” and his Giants is truly a sight to see.
