From May 1996 through April 1999, Mark Too Sharp Johnson reigned as the IBF Flyweight World Champion and was in the midst of an impressive run of thirteen consecutive successful title defenses. From the height of his pugilistic career, offered is the pair of boxing gloves used by Johnson during his 1998 5th round TKO of Jose Laureano. The Reyes (8 oz.) gloves show wear consistent with a prize-fight, and both have been signed, inscribed and personalized by the Champ. The right-handed mitt is additionally dated 9/4/98, KO in 5 Rds in Johnsonís hand. Accompanied by an affidavit from Johnson signed in our Maryland office noting provenance directly from himself to Huggins and Scott Auctions.
