Most baseball hurlers are not known for their hitting prowess, and before inter-league play, American League pitchers seldom took a swing, making game-used bats from AL pitchers especially rare. Offered is a game-used bat from superstar Pedro Martinez. The red ash Hillerich & Bradsby measures 34-inch with several ball markings while remaining crack free. Pedro’s #45 dons the knob and the bottom of the barrel, and his name is in place right above the indicator that it was used during his Red Sox years. The Louisville Slugger comes with a PSA/DNA full letter attesting that this is indeed a professional model game-ready bat. According to their research, the bat is from the 2003 season and mostly likely was used in batting practice, as he only had one at-bat the entire season. This item will serve the rare game-used collector well.
