Presented is a game-used 1980 Louisville Slugger Mike Schmidt All-Star Game bat graded 9.5 by PSA. This gorgeous stick (33.4oz/35.5”) has been signed in blue sharpie on the barrel (“9”). Although Schmidt was selected but did not play in the 1980 All-Star game, the bat reveals excellent usage from after that game. This uncracked bat shows some slight checking and bat rack streaks. Schmidt’s 20 is on the knob in black marker, and a piece of red tape has been applied on the upper handle to make his bat appear like an Adirondack model on television (he was under contract with that manufacturer). This bat is accompanied by a full Letter of Grading and Authenticity from PSA/DNA. The bat is also accompanied by an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.
