Description

Offered is a nineteenth-century J. Tarratt and Sons flintlock muzzleloader rifle with a double set trigger. This piece has a 31 octagonal barrel and the lock plate contains J. Tarratt & Sons along with the portrayal of a hunter in the wild. The wooden body, butt and ramrod are made of tiger maple. The shoulder plate and trigger guard are made of brass. This piece reveals light wear throughout the steel components and wooden body.
