Description

As the industry expands and more collectors realize the importance and individuality of game-worn items, artifacts like the offered 1915 Philadelphia Phillies game-worn cap will continue to draw considerable interest. Lost to time is the 1915 Phillies Championship team member that actually wore this hat in a game. The Spalding cap is in excellent condition and presents exquisitely. The outer grey and red cap has only the mildest of fading or discoloration. The interior rim displays the Spalding company logo sewn into the leather band. The underside of the brim exhibits the most wear with moderate fading and roughed fabric. This amazing relic is completely intact with a small repair present on the P on the front. The hat has all the proper tags and markings consistent with known examples from the period.
